Three ways to commission a piece
1. Start with a piece from our range
Not sure where to begin? From chairs to outdoor loungers or even indoor dining tables, our existing collection is a good place to start. If a design comes close to what you have in mind, it can become the foundation for a made-to-order piece. Depending on the design, you may be able to adjust the dimensions, timber, finish or weave colour to suit your space.
We work with Blackwood, European Oak, Plantation Teak, Spotted Gum and Cottonwood. Each timber has its own character and wears differently over time. Our team will help you find the right option for the design, setting and way the piece will be used.
2. Build on a piece you already have
Jaci’s Private Lodge commissioned a collection of chairs before the flood. When the space was later redeveloped around a new aesthetic, the chairs found renewed purpose, their adaptability allowing them to evolve with the lodge while remaining part of its story. A spontaneous outdoor meal unfolds on the deck, beneath the canopy of riverine trees.
The beauty of wooden furniture is that pieces don’t have to match to belong together. Rooms with character often bring together timbers and textures collected over the years. A blackwood desk can sit comfortably beside an oak dining table, while a woven chair can soften a room filled with timber. Our showroom team can help you decide when to create a cohesive look and when to introduce contrast.
3. Create something entirely new
Sometimes, nothing in our collection quite fits the space. Other times, you have an idea you’ve been holding on to for years. That’s where a completely custom piece begins.
